3/17/2011SSMS 2008 R2 IntelliSense Stopped Working after VS 2010 SP1

Looks like there is an issue with intelliSense working with Sql Server Mgt Studio 2008 R2 after installing VS2010 SP1. This bug has been logged in Connect and a forum started here. Seems like installing the CU6 patch works for some, but is not a fix for all. I will follow up once I learn more.

3/9/2011Windows Azure Storage Containers must be Lowercase

Otherwise you will get a StorageException, "One of the request inputs is out of range." This message makes sense because obviously the container is out of range from being lowercaseYell

3/8/2011Maintaining Session in Windows Azure

I found a great blog post for maintaining session while running in Azure. When you push to Azure from running the local simulator in dev your connectionstring will change from something like

<Setting name="DataConnectionString" value="UseDevelopmentStorage=true" />

to

<Setting name="DataConnectionString" value="DefaultEndpointsProtocol=https; AccountName=AccountName; AccountKey=AccessKey" />
